AHN Neighborhood Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA is hiring for a Patient Care Assistant/CNA on the night shift (7P-7A). The role involves providing advanced indirect and selected direct patient care under the direction of an RN, supporting the nursing process, and handling clerical duties.

Requires High School diploma or GED, CNA preferred, current BLS, 2 years acute care experience or enrollment in nursing program; English fluency; Act 33/Act 73 clearances as required in PA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced indirect and selected direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Perform duties related to the nursing process and clerical tasks; monitor and document patient status.
• Assist with patient mobility, meals, hygiene, and transportation; maintain clean patient rooms and equipment.
