Stormont Vail Health seeks a Patient Care Technician for a part-time, 12-hour night shift in Topeka, KS. You will work under the RN direction to provide delegated patient care and maintain a safe environment, documenting activities and reporting changes promptly.

Education requirements include coursework in nursing or medical assisting; certifications may substitute. Experience in clinical settings is preferred, and we emphasize infection prevention, safety, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed first semester in an accredited nursing program.
• Successfully completed a medical assistant or patient care technician program.
• A certified nursing/medical assistant or similar certification may substitute for education requirements.

Responsabilités

• Assist RN with delegated patient care interventions.
• Maintain safe patient environment and report changes to RN.
• Document care performed and pertinent observations.
• Promote infection prevention and standard precautions in patient areas.
• Assist with activities of daily living and vital signs.
• Support department education and staff mentorship.
