Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, NJ is seeking a Part Time, Night shift Patient Care Technician I to support the IMCU team. This role involves assisting nurses and doctors in meeting patient needs, with responsibilities including vital signs monitoring, mobility assistance, EKGs, phlebotomy, and daily living activities.

Preferred candidates have a High School diploma or GED and BLS certification (within 3 months of hire).

Formación

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 3 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressing.
• Obtains and records vital signs, weights, and heights.
• Assists patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities.
• Performs post mortem care.
• Performs EKGs, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring.
• Observes and reports changes in patients' condition to the RN.
• Maintains phlebotomy equipment and inventory.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Educación
