Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program.
• Basic knowledge of patient care practices and equipment.
• Commitment to safety and infection prevention.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care and maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Record vital signs and measurements and report to RN/LPN.
• Support meals, bathing, grooming, linen changes, and mobility for patients.
• Assist with positioning, mobility aids, and patient transport as needed.
• Collect urine/stool samples and perform finger-stick glucose monitoring.
• Communicate patient information to the care team and adhere to PPE guidelines.
• Participate in infection control, safety protocols, and quality improvement.
• Maintain regular attendance and compliance with policies.
