Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join the team. The role supports direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision, focusing on safety, comfort, and satisfaction across a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, data collection, venipuncture and EKG as directed, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure smooth transitions from admission to discharge.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Completion of one of the following programs: CNA, Medical Assistant, or Patient Care Technician; or Fundamentals of Nursing; or HMH PCT Apprenticeship; or equivalent medical background.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care aligned with age-specific criteria.
• Communicate with RN and health care team about patient status.
• Support patient safety, comfort and satisfaction.
• Assist with admission to discharge care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Adhere to unit PI activities and departmental standards.
