Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana, seeks a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team on Med Surg 4 Allard. The role requires a Montana CNA license and BLS, plus solid computer and communication skills.

As a full-time night shift member, you will assist with basic patient care, monitor patients, and collaborate with RNs and unit staff to ensure safe, compassionate care while maintaining unit records and flow.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including toileting, bathing, mobility, and comfort.
• Report patient care findings timely and notify RN of changes.
• Monitor patients and assist with telemetry as required.
• Transport medications to the RN.
• Collaborate with RN and team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Assist as Health Unit Coordinator: answer phones, transcribe orders, manage unit records.
• Implement plan of care as delegated.
• Perform duties within Scope of Practice.
• Maintain safety and emergency readiness.
