Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT seeks a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team. Responsibilities include basic patient care, telemetry monitoring, transporting medications, and assisting as a Health Unit Coordinator.

Current Montana CNA license and BLS required. Excellent communication and computer literacy essential. Shift options include day/night with weekends/holidays; benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Montana
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including toileting, bathing, hygiene, and comfort measures.
• Report changes in patient condition and document findings promptly.
• Monitor patients on telemetry and assist the care team.
• Transport medications to RN on unit.
• Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal care.
• May perform Health Unit Coordinator tasks: phones, orders, unit supplies.
• Implement care plans as delegated.
• Maintain safety per policy and respond to emergencies.
