Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team on the Neuro Unit. You will assist with basic care, monitor patients, and collaborate with RNs to ensure quality outcomes.

Role requires Montana CNA license and BLS, strong communication, and computer literacy. Shift options include day/night rotation with weekends and holidays; benefits eligible. Join a team dedicated to compassionate patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Current Montana CNA license and BLS Certification required at time of hire.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior CNA experience or applicable healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration, ambulation, comfort measures, and customer service to patients and families.
• Timely reporting of patient care findings and condition changes; coordinate with qualified staff as needed.
• May perform telemetry duties and function as a patient care attendant on the unit.
• Transport medications from delivery system to RN as required on the unit.
• Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• May assume Health Unit Coordinator responsibilities (phones, orders, unit records, stocking supplies).
• Implement plan of care as delegated and perform duties within scope of practice.
• Maintain safety by following policy and emergency procedures.
