Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, Montana, is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist the patient care team and potentially serve as Health Unit Coordinator on Neuro Unit.

Requires Montana CNA certification and BLS, strong computer literacy, and excellent communication. Part-time night shift with benefits eligibility, hourly rate $18.40–$23.92, on-site at St Vincent Regional Hospital.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Montana.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration, ambulation and comfort measures.
• Report and document patient care findings and changes in condition promptly.
• Monitor patients and assist with telemetry as required.
• Transport medications to RN on unit.
• Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary team for optimal care.
• May perform Health Unit Coordinator tasks as needed.
• Follow plan of care and regulatory standards; ensure safety.
