Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team on a Surgical unit. The role involves direct patient care, telemetry support as needed, and collaboration with RNs to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Responsibilities include documentation, assisting with daily tasks, and acting as a health unit coordinator when required. A Colorado CNA license and BLS certification are required. Night shift and full-time hours are available.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Colorado
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including toileting, bathing, ambulation, and comfort.
• Report changes in patient condition promptly and document findings.
• May perform telemetry duties and assist with unit coordination as required.
• Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
