Job summary

Mercy Springfield is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff in the Mercy Springfield South ED at Ortho. Under RN or LPN direction, you assist in individualized patient care and perform designated procedures and tasks essential to wellness.

This full-time night role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, BLS within one month of hire, and completion of required PCT competencies within 3 months. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, CNA/CPCT or enrolled in a healthcare career program.
• Experience: None required.
• Certifications: BLS required within one month of hire; PCT competencies within 3 months.

Responsibilities
