Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, CNA/CPTC or enrolled in a healthcare career program; Mercy coworker status also acceptable.
• Experience: None required.
• Minimum Physical Requirements: lifting up to 50 pounds, standing/walking most of shift, ability to reach/bend/squat.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document in the EMR system.
• Assist with patient care needs including meals, bathing, toileting, ambulation, and mobility.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
• Support progression from PCA to PCT with phlebotomy, wound care, IV/ Foley removal and trach care/suctioning.
