Qualifications

• 0–2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a nursing program preferred.
• BCLS within 90 days of hire required.
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with basic patient care and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Record vital signs and input/output, report findings to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming, mobility, and use of walkers or wheelchairs.
• Position patients, assist with ambulation, and maintain patient comfort.
• Collect specimens and monitor glucose as directed, document results.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the care team and maintain professionalism.
• Adhere to infection control and PPE protocols and participate in safety initiatives.
