Job summary

Baptist Health in Alabama seeks a Patient Care Technician to join the patient care team, assisting RNs, LPNs, and physicians in routine and non-complex patient care. The PCT supports patient comfort and daily living activities, with duties that may expand within the role’s scope.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of body mechanics and safety in patient handling.
• Medical terminology training preferred.
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; CNA program preferred; clinical rotation or 1 year patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs, LPNs, and Physicians in routine and non Complex patient care.
• Support in activities of daily living and patient comfort tasks.
• May have additional duties within scope of the role.
