Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Post Surgical Unit on nights in Arlington Heights, IL. The role is part-time, 24 hours per week, with orientation to start Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

Shifts run 7:00pm–7:30am with every-other-weekend requirement. You will provide personal care, mobility assistance, vital sign checks, specimen collection, and seamless ward support under RN/LPN supervision.

Qualifications

• High school level knowledge is required.
• Completion of an accredited CNA course and CNA certification.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care needs under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with mobility and safe patient handling.
• Take vital signs, input/output checks, accu-checks, and report abnormalities.
• Assist with admission, discharge, transfer, and transport; answer unit phones.
