Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the Emergency Department night shift at Highland Park Hospital. The role is full-time (36 hours per week) with rotating weekends, requiring careful patient monitoring and teamwork.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient care, ensuring accurate charting, and maintaining safety protocols while wearing PPE as needed. Strong interpersonal skills and basic computer use are important.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• CNA training course completed is preferred.
• At least one nursing clinical rotation in medical/surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association; if not current, must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care needs during the Night shift in the Emergency Department.
• Monitor patients and assist with basic activities under supervision.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients while adhering to safety protocols.
• Follow proper patient movement and lifting procedures as required by the clinical setting.
