Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for Highland Park Hospital. Work is Full Time, night shift (7p-7:30a) with rotating weekends, 36 hours per week. You will assist with ADLs, vitals, transferral and safety tasks under RN/LPN supervision.

You will engage with patients and families, perform hourly rounding, and support the nursing team with equipment and supplies. Requires CNA training and BLS certification. No prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork and the ability to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors, answer call lights and phones, and perform hourly rounds.
• Assist in safe patient handling, ambulation, transferring and repositioning with Safe Patient Handling equipment.
• Provide basic ADL support (bathing, grooming, eating, bedmaking) under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers, room setup and patient orientation.
• Document patient care activities (vital signs, intake/output, wound care) and notify nursing staff as needed.
• Support nursing team with restocking equipment and supplies.
