Job summary

St. Joseph’s Wayne Medical Center is seeking a Part-Time Patient Care Associate for the 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift. You will assist patients with daily living activities, perform basic care for acutely ill patients, and help maintain a safe, clean environment on the Med/Surg unit.

Responsibilities include performing EKGs and Venipuncture under RN supervision, with certifications like BLS required within six months of hire. This role supports a team-focused hospital environment in Wayne, NJ.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• PCA/PCT diploma or CNA certification preferred depending on route.
• Enrollment in nursing program considered with related coursework.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic care.
• Support in maintaining a safe, clean environment on the unit.
• Perform EKGs and Venipuncture as directed by the RN.
