Job summary

St. Joseph's Health in Wayne, NJ is seeking a Patient Care Associate for full-time night shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) at St. Joseph's Wayne Medical Center.

The role provides basic patient care, assists with activities of daily living, and helps maintain a safe, clean environment, including EKGs and venipuncture under RN supervision. Competitive benefits and on-site employment at a major NJ health system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• PCA/PCT diploma or CNA/NHCA certification or enrolled in nursing program with relevant coursework.
• Nursing Fundamentals coursework or nursing assistant training completion.
• PCA/PCT, Home Health Aide or CMA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Perform EKGs and Venipuncture as directed by RN.
• Support nursing staff as needed.
