Job summary

St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ, is seeking a Patient Care Associate for the full-time night shift on-site. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, provide basic care to acutely ill individuals, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities include performing EKGs and venipuncture as directed by the Registered Nurse. The role supports a skilled nursing team and offers opportunities for growth while pursuing nursing studies; required

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
• PCA/PCT diploma with 6 months to 1 year of healthcare experience, or CNA certification, or NHCA-certified PCA/PCT diploma.
• Enrolment in nursing school with relevant coursework may substitute.
• Evidence of Nursing Fundamentals coursework or Nursing Assistant training completion.

Responsibilities
