Job summary

St. Joseph’s Health in Wayne, NJ, seeks a Patient Care Associate for the 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM shift.

You will assist patients with daily living activities, provide basic care to acutely ill patients, and help maintain a safe, clean environment while performing EKGs and venipuncture as directed by the RN. The role requires BLS within 6 months, a PCA/PCT diploma or CNA certification (or related nursing coursework/training), and relevant healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• PCA/PCT diploma or CNA certification as applicable.
• Nursing Fundamentals coursework or nursing assistant training completion.
• Evidence of CNA/PCA/PCT experience is acceptable where noted.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
