UC Health is seeking a Part-Time Patient Care Assistant for the Night Shift on the 5th floor Med Surg unit at West Chester Hospital. The PCA provides basic direct patient care as delegated by clinical professionals and helps maintain a safe, clean environment for patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Provides basic direct patient care as delegated by clinical professional personnel in accordance with delegation law and rules.
• Maintains an orderly, clean and safe environment for patients and visitors.
• Night Shift PCA on the 5th floor Med Surg unit at West Chester Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Measures vital signs and records observations.
• Assists with activities of daily living and patient mobility as directed.
• Performs specimen collection and basic clinical tasks as permitted.
• Communicates patient observations to the RN promptly and accurately.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort through routine care activities.
