UC Health is seeking a Part-Time Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for the 4th floor Surgical Med Surg unit at West Chester Hospital. The PCA delivers basic direct patient care under supervision, maintaining a safe, clean environment in line with delegation rules and current education.

Responsibilities include vital signs, ADLs, meal assistance, and rapid communication of patient status to the RN. The role offers a supportive team and growth opportunities in a high-quality care setting.

Qualifications

• Provides basic direct patient care as delegated by clinical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Measures vital signs and records observations.
• Assists with activities of daily living (ADL) and personal care.
• Distributes and arranges meals; assists with feeding as needed.
• Operates simple patient care equipment and monitors patient comfort.
• Communicates patient observations to the RN promptly.
