Job summary

Huntington Hospital is seeking a Patient Access Representative I for the night shift (11pm–7:30am). The role supports inpatient, outpatient, and emergency access, with cross-training across scheduling, pre-registration, and financial clearance.

A minimum of 1 year in customer service is required and healthcare experience is preferred. Pay ranges from $25.00 to $31.31 per hour, with potential additional incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Customer Service experience required.
• Healthcare registration/scheduling/authorization experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming experience and assist patients with access to care across inpatient/outpatient/emergency services.
• Support scheduling, pre-registration, financial clearance, referrals, authorizations, and registration duties.
• Explain insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements; determine patient liability and collect co-pays/deductibles.
