Job summary

Trinity Health is hiring a Part-time Representative II, Patient Access for the Germantown location. The role handles registration, verifies demographics and financial information, and coordinates with care teams to ensure accurate billing and patient privacy.

Night shifts (10:30pm–7am) Friday & Saturday, every other weekend; high emphasis on customer service, accuracy, and teamwork in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED
• Two-year hospital/healthcare experience in registration, billing, or insurance
• Familiarity with third party/insurance payers and medical terminology
• Proficiency in computers, Microsoft products, and email
• Typing 45 wpm or higher
• Excellent telephone customer service and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to transport patients if needed
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify demographic and financial information for inpatients and outpatients during registration.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, physician offices and payers.
• Communicate financial/insurance information to case management and counseling staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per privacy and security policies.
• Enter orders when necessary and ensure necessary signatures and payments are obtained.
