Intuitive Health is seeking a Patient Access Advocate for part-time night shifts (Thursdays 7pm - 7am) to greet patients, register them, verify insurance, and support clinical staff in a fast-paced ambulatory care setting.

As a member of the front office, you will handle payments, answer calls, maintain records, and uphold HIPAA standards while delivering compassionate customer service in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new technology and systems.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, professional manner in person and over the phone.
• Register new patients and update demographic, insurance, and billing information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect copays, deductibles, and payments.
• Facilitate patient flow by notifying clinical staff of arrivals, communicating delays, and keeping patients informed.
• Answer phones and route calls; provide general information.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform clerical tasks and maintain waiting areas and front desk spaces.
• Assist with supply management and support patients and families with a friendly approach.
