Qualifications

• High school diploma required; preferred clerical/medical office program.
• 2+ years in clerical, customer service or medical office settings.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients upon arrival and verifies registration information.
• Collects co-pays and processes payments; updates system accordingly.
• Verifies insurance and scans insurance cards into the system.
• Updates patient status as checked in and coordinates with clinical staff.
• Performs check-out duties and assists with referrals as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality and complies with HIPAA policies.
