Job summary

You will generate patient estimates, assist with financial counseling, and collaborate with clinical teams to maintain smooth patient flow in a high-volume setting, including ER, inpatient, obstetrics, and outpatient services.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED and customer service or patient financial services experience.
• Preferred qualifications include Associate’s degree, CRCR and CHAA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient demographics and inputs information into EHR accurately.
• Proficiently verifies insurance benefits and reads insurance guidelines.
• Submits timely payer authorizations to reduce denials.
• Communicates with patients about financial liability and payment options.
• Maintains compliant documentation and supports patient access services.
