Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Patient Access Services Representative to be the first point of contact for patients entering care in our Queen Creek, AZ facilities. You will greet, verify insurance, register patients, and coordinate with clinical teams to improve flow and satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma, customer service experience, and comfort with multiple systems. Night shifts include 6pm–6am on Wed/Thu/Fri with on-call and holiday coverage, plus training upon hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient financial services or insurance is preferred (1+ year).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision and strong communication.
• Experience with common office software and typing.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient demographics and input data into EHR to maximize reimbursement.
• Assist with insurance verification and patient eligibility.
• Explain financial liability and help with payment plans.
• Provide excellent customer service as the first contact for patients.
• Support documentation accuracy and compliance.
