Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an experienced Registration Manager for the Greeley, CO area to oversee patient registration, insurance verification, and upfront collections in a busy ED and admitting area.

You will mentor staff, manage a department budget up to $2.5M, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements across multiple departments around the clock, prioritizing service excellence for patients and providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Four or more years of supervisory experience in a hospital setting with leadership responsibilities.
• Thorough knowledge of managed care contracts, third-party payors, AHCCCS and Medicare.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient registration areas and staff to ensure high quality service.
• Mentor staff, conduct evaluations, and develop succession plans.
• Maximize cash flow through effective billing, authorizations, and upfront collections.
• Manage department budget and staffing to stay within guidelines.
• Lead process improvements and onboarding of new hires to ensure performance standards.
