Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Germantown, MD, is seeking a Part-time Representative II, Patient Access for the night shift. The role involves gathering and verifying patient demographic and financial information before or during registration.

You will deliver excellent customer service, coordinate with case management and financial counseling, and ensure patient confidentiality while assisting with orders when needed. Strong accuracy and patient support are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Two-year experience in a hospital and/or health care setting preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify demographic and financial information for inpatient and outpatient registrations.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, physician offices, third-party payers and staff.
• Communicate financial/insurance information to case management and financial counseling staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per hospital privacy policies.
• May enter lab and radiology orders when needed.
• Assess patient financial status, verify information, and collect applicable payments at or before service.
