Job summary

Haleon is seeking a Packaging Technician in New York to support the packaging area, analyze root causes for process improvements, and drive cost reductions. The role operates 12-hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am, focusing on safety and compliance while handling packaging materials and finished goods.

You will perform autonomous maintenance, quality checks, and SAP transactions, with opportunities to advance your career through hands-on experience on state-of-the-art lines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend off.
• Basic computer skills: data entry, email, file access, Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated toothpaste packaging lines at speeds up to 450 tubes/min.
• Handle packaging materials and finished goods.
• Maintain cleanliness of the area and equipment.
• Perform autonomous maintenance to keep lines at top performance.
• Assist maintenance on preventive maintenance activities.
• Conduct inventories of packaging materials and products.
• Perform safety and compliance-focused activities.
• Record batch activity and document results.
• Perform quality checks and SAP transactions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
