Job summary

Haleon is hiring a Packaging Technician to support our fully automated toothpaste packaging lines. You will operate high-speed packaging systems, manage materials, and perform autonomous maintenance while ensuring safety and quality compliance.

The role requires a HS diploma and ability to work 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend. We offer a robust Total Reward package with healthcare, a 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and paid parental leave.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend off.
• Basic computer skills (Data entry, email, file access, Microsoft Word and Excel)

Responsibilities

• Operate state-of-the-art fully automated toothpaste packaging lines operating at speeds up to 450 tubes per minute.
• Handle packaging materials and finished goods
• Maintain cleanliness of the area and the equipment
• Perform autonomous maintenance activities to keep the lines producing at top performance
• Assist maintenance technician on preventive maintenance activities
• Conduct inventories of packaging materials and products
• Perform activities with focus on safety and compliance
• Record transactions in SAP to manage materials from receipt to final product
• Perform frequent quality checks and document results
• Document batch activity on computerized system
• Identify and act on process improvement
• Comply with procedures, work instructions, forms, batch documentation and good manufacturing practices
• Search for cost savings and waste reduction opportunities
