Job summary

Axalta in Orrville, OH is seeking a Filling and Packaging Operator to fill, label, package, and inspect products, and to operate packaging equipment while maintaining accurate production documentation.

The role offers Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM shifts with occasional Friday work. It includes a $1,500 sign-on bonus ($750 at 3 months, $750 at 6 months) and benefits eligibility, with a pay rate of $22.04 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Fill, label, and package products according to guidelines.
• Complete job sheets and production documentation accurately.
• Attach lot numbers and shipping information to finished products.
• Sort, grade, weigh, and inspect products for quality and packaging specs.
• Set up, operate, clean, and tear down packaging equipment as required.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust for consistent product quality.
• Stop or reset equipment and report mechanical issues to supervision.
• Remove finished products and separate non-conforming materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety policies.
