dfa is hiring for a Packaging Operator on a 12-hour rotating shift. The role operates various high-speed packaging equipment, ensuring proper packaging and storage of products. Night shift pays $25.10/hr with day shift at $23.10/hr, plus a hiring bonus.

Responsibilities include operating packaging lines, monitoring coders, maintaining product quality, and completing related paperwork. Some light housekeeping and sanitation are required, with full adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Moderate on the job training provided.
• Must be able to work on any lines except filling machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate global packaging machines including case packers and labelers.
• Assist palletizing of finished goods and ensure smooth production flow.
• Ensure correct coding on packages and monitor quality of packed goods.
• Complete paperwork such as usage, downtime, and loss reports.
• Perform light housekeeping and sanitation around equipment.
• Report equipment issues to supervisor or maintenance promptly.
• Follow safety procedures and pass pre-employment screenings.
