Qualifications

• Ability to supervise, motivate and train hourly employees.
• Able to solve problems independently and effectively articulate and communicate information.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily dock and cooler processes.
• Coach and develop outbound associates.
• Monitor work, policy adherence and safety requirements.
• Issue disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Explain policies, enforce safety and security rules, lead pre-shift meetings.
• Manage labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepare work schedules.
• Substitute unavailable items for selection.
• Coordinate with sales, purchasing, inventory control.
• Spot-check orders for accuracy and quality.
• Pull and double-check critical care orders for accuracy.
• Inspect material handling equipment daily and arrange repairs with maintenance.
