Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a Night Warehouse Supervisor to lead a shift, ensuring efficient operations, proper manpower utilization, and adherence to safety standards. You will supervise material handlers, selectors, and partial-order pullers, and drive productivity across dock and cooler areas.

Responsibilities include coaching outbound associates, scheduling, and coordinating with sales, purchasing, and inventory control to meet daily targets while controlling costs and maintaining quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year operations/warehouse experience in shipping and receiving perishable products.
• Ability to supervise, motivate and train hourly employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily dock and cooler processes.
• Coach and develop outbound associates.
• Monitor work, policy and safety compliance.
• Issue disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Interpret and enforce company policies; lead pre-shift meetings.
• Manage labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepare work schedules.
• Substitute items unavailable for selection.
• Communicate with sales, purchasing, and inventory control.
• Spot-check orders for accuracy and quality.
• Pull and double-check critical care orders for accuracy.
• Inspect material handling equipment daily and coordinate repairs.
