Job summary

Mars is seeking reliable Operators for the night shift (10:30 pm–7:00 am) in the United States. You will be a system expert in your area, ensure efficiency, quality, and conformance, and train peers when needed.

Responsibilities include operating and changing over equipment, performing cleaning and inspections, and supporting five principles and TPM teams to drive continuous improvement. A high school diploma is required; an associate degree and food manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• MUST have a high school diploma; an associate degree is preferred.
• 2+ years in a food manufacturing environment with automated processes (PLC/HMI) preferred.
• Strong math, communication, computer and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment in the assigned area while meeting quality, safety and performance standards.
• Communicate effectively with team leader and peers; escalate issues per protocol.
• Complete HACCP and other required sheets accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow 5S standards.
• Perform changeovers, cleaning, lubrication, and inspections as needed.
• Participate in TPM teams and support continual improvement initiatives.
