Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd D shift (6:00pm-6:30am) on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule with pay of $38.50 per hour. The role focuses on Electrical and Mechanical maintenance to support plant operations in a safe, compliant environment.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing equipment, following OSHA rules, diagnosing issues, and generating work orders while maintaining PMs and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in food manufacturing industry.
• 4+ years as maintenance mechanic.
• PLC experience is a plus
• Willing to rotate 12-hour shift including weekends and some overtime
• Ability to follow manufacturing specifications and schematics
• Knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG)
• Owns a full set of professional electrical tools

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment such as conveyors and ovens.
• Follow OSHA safety rules and wear PPE in an industrial environment.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test high-speed production equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and follow manufacturing specifications.
• Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage PMs.
• Generate work orders and coordinate parts requests.
