Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring an Assistant Operations Supervisor in our Atlanta, GA Presort facility. You will oversee production schedules, staffing, and quality, ensuring USPS compliance. Annual salary is $70,000–$75,000, with a 10% annual field bonus.

This role follows the 3rd shift: Tue–Sat, 12:30 AM–9:00 AM EST, with occasional extra days. You will monitor performance metrics, generate USPS and internal reports, and maintain USPS-PSI relationships to optimize efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production environment, preferably mailing.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in an operating center with high volume.
• Ability to analyze and interpret USPS regulations and requirements.
• Ability to prepare and present reports to managers and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production schedules and capacity to determine daily/weekly requirements while controlling costs and quality.
• Adjust sort schemes in response to USPS changes or to improve efficiency.
• Measure key production performance indicators and take corrective actions.
• Ensure completion of USPS and internal reports and compliance with postal regulations.
• Develop USPS-PSI relationships and communicate regulatory changes or new initiatives.
• Monitor mail volumes and postage trends to optimize discounts and reduce costs.
• Ensure secure, safe, and reliable transportation of client mail and coordinate related activities.
• Perform additional duties as required.
