Job summary

Pitney Bowes is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for the 2nd shift at our Atlanta Presort Services facility. The role involves directing the production team Monday through Friday evenings to meet USPS deadlines and drive efficiency.

The candidate should have supervisory experience in mail-related environments, strong Excel/Access skills, and a willingness to adapt to varied shifts. Compensation includes base salary and a 6% field bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in presort, mailroom or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible experience in production or mailing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and Access; basic knowledge of Word, Teams, Internet and Outlook.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to walk/stand 80% of the time.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays and shifts with limited notice.

Responsibilities

• Organize mail flow on the production floor by assigning workers and assessing volumes.
• Manage production workers on the designated shift to meet deadlines.
• Interview, hire, train, appraise performance and address employee issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Oversee quality throughout the production area and ensure TQM processes.
• Assist with USPS and internal reports, job costing, and postal regulations.
• Maintain clear communication between shifts and suggest efficiency improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
