Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring for an Assistant Operations Manager at our Las Vegas presort facility. The role supports production planning, supervision, and USPS compliance on a 3rd shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 9:45 PM–6:15 AM). Salary ranges from $75,000 to $82,000 per year plus a 10% field bonus.

The successful candidate will monitor production schedules, manage resources, and ensure accuracy of USPS reports while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a production environment, preferably in mailing
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced center
• Ability to analyze and interpret USPS postal regulations
• Ability to prepare reports and present information to managers and staff
• Experience with spreadsheet and database applications in a Microsoft Office environment

Responsibilities

• Monitor production schedules and capacity to determine daily/weekly requirements for equipment and people, while controlling costs and quality
• Adjust sort schemes to USPS changes or to improve production efficiency
• Measure production KPIs and take actions when needed
• Prepare USPS and internal reports, and apply all USPS postal regulations
• Develop and maintain USPS-PSI relationships and communicate USPS changes or new tech initiatives
• Analyze mail volumes and postage trends to optimize discounts and reduce postage expense
• Ensure secure, safe transportation of client mail and efficient delivery/pick-up
