Job summary

Pitney Bowes in Atlanta is seeking an Assistant Operations Supervisor for our Presort facility. The 3rd shift runs Tuesday through Saturday from 12:30 AM to 9:00 AM EST. You will oversee production, coordinate resources, and ensure quality while controlling costs per work unit.

The role requires strong leadership, USPS regulation knowledge, and a customer-focused approach to drive efficient operations. A flexible, performance-driven environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a high-volume production setting.
• Experience in mailing/fulfillment operations preferred.
• Ability to interpret USPS regulations and produce reports.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and data reporting.
• Strong leadership and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production schedules and capacity, and manage costs per work unit.
• Adjust sort schemes to USPS changes and improve efficiency.
• Measure production KPIs and take corrective actions.
• Ensure USPS and internal reports and job costing are accurate.
• Develop USPS-PSI relationships and communicate regulatory changes.
• Analyze mail volumes and postage trends to optimize discounts.
• Ensure secure, safe transportation and timely delivery/pickups.
