Job summary

FedEx Ground seeks an Operations Supervisor to champion safety and lead a team responsible for the sortation and movement of packages. You will plan, organize, and direct daily operations, while coaching staff to achieve performance goals and maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities include training new employees, ensuring adherence to FXG policies, and communicating updates to teams and leadership. The role requires flexible scheduling and strong leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Six (6) months experience in package handling or supervisory roles in fast-paced environments.
• Experience or certification programs in related areas or 2+ years of college courses toward a degree.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe, efficient sortation of packages.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate operational updates and goals.
