Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive Company in Morristown, Tennessee, is seeking an Operations Team Leader for the Night shift (6:00pm to 6:30am, 2.2.3 schedule). You will lead frontline Technicians, manage daily production, and drive Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Operational Excellence (OPEX) initiatives to improve safety, quality, service and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with SAP systems and FP&R Standards.
• Proficiency with Google Suite applications.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• 1+ year of working knowledge of production and process equipment in processing industries.
• Ability to manage production activities, resource allocation, shift coordination, and schedule management.
• Adherence to GMP, QA, Food Safety initiatives, safety policies, and environmental health standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the activities of Technicians engaged in production, planning and establishing work schedules and production sequences.
• Drive OPEX and continuous improvement; adhere to EHS, Quality and Operational Efficiency standards; maintain KPIs.
• Track and analyze KPIs; prepare Plant Performance Reports on inventory loss/gain and yield variances.
• Lead the Autonomous Maintenance (AM) program on the floor, driving progress and eliminating losses.
• Coordinate with supervisors and facility leaders to ensure seamless workflow.
• Provide real-time coaching to Technicians to build technical competencies.
• Coordinate technical training; address labor concerns with timely resolution.
• Ensure strict adherence to GMP, QA, Food Safety, and safety/environmental standards.
