Job summary

Xerox is seeking an Onsite Service Technician to provide expert service and technical support in a fast-paced, production environment. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, ensuring service levels are met and customer satisfaction remains high.

The role is a night shift with 12-hour rotations between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM, following a 3 days on/4 days off pattern, then 4 days on/3 days off. This position offers comprehensive benefits and a strong training program.

Qualifications

• Electromechanical troubleshooting experience, including the use of a multi-meter and reading electrical schematics.
• Relevant experience may include roles such as HVAC technician, cable/internet technician, electrician, automotive mechanic, repair technician, military, or veteran technical experience.
• Strong time management skills and a high level of reliability and dependability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent walking, standing, squatting, and bending.
• Strong commitment to safety, especially around electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by managing service calls and resolving issues in accordance with customer SLAs.
• Use electromechanical skills to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair assigned equipment.
• Take ownership of customer satisfaction by serving as the primary contact for maintenance, production support, and supply inventory management.
• Communicate equipment status and availability to the onsite client base and engage additional Xerox support resources as needed.
• Train customers on assigned products to improve end-user knowledge and equipment functionality.
