Job summary

UPMC Western Maryland's Labor & Delivery Unit is seeking a compassionate Professional Staff Nurse to join our Obstetrics team. This full-time RN position covers the night shift, with rotating weekends and holidays, and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 with a two-year commitment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required for the facility state or compact licensure.
• 0-2 years of experience in obstetrics preferred; BSN preferred.
• Must maintain BLS/CPR certification and basic nursing competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the Obstetrics unit as an RN.
• Engage in clinical development and residency programs as offered.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with care teams; participate in shared governance.
