UPMC Harrisburg is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Night shift in Pediatrics/PICU. This role involves leading patient care, teaching families, and collaborating with the care team to achieve positive outcomes. A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 may be offered at hire based on eligibility.

The position requires RN licensure, 0–2 years' experience, and BSN preferred. Night shifts offer premium pay differential and flexible options as described by UPMC.

Qualifications

• Zero to two years of experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive, caring relationships with executives, managers, physicians, non-physician providers, ancillary and support staff, other departments, and patients/families.
• Ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment, handle multiple/changing priorities and specialized equipment.

Responsabilités

• Develops and maintains productive working relationships internally and externally by demonstrating accountability for actions, enthusiasm, motivation and commitment to patients and colleagues.
• Demonstrates knowledge of adult learning principles and applies in teaching of patients and families to guide through care episode and transition to home.

• Incorporates professional goals to improve patient safety, quality and satisfaction.
• Participates in unit-based governance and quality improvement efforts.
