Job summary

AllianceHealth Durant is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for nights in our Post Partum/Nursery unit to provide patient-centered care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• RN licensure in state and/or compact licensure required.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Support physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the team.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control practices and patient safety.
