Job summary

Woodlawn Health in Indiana is seeking an experienced OB RN for a part-time night shift. If you’re passionate about caring for mothers and newborns, you’ll support labor, delivery, and the post-partum unit with compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualified candidates must hold Indiana RN licensure, have OB experience, and be BLS certified; ACLS/NRP within one year of hire, plus STABLE certification. Prior fetal monitoring and newborn care is required; postpartum nursery experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Indiana as an RN.
• Requires OB nursing experience and fetal monitoring.
• Post-Partum/Nursery experience desired.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/NRP within 1 year of hire.
• STABLE certification required by state.
• ACLS/NRP must be obtained within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and coordinate care, including IV therapy and meds.
• Develop and modify care plans and discharge planning.
• Prescribe nursing actions to meet patient needs.
• Assist physicians and implement orders accurately.
• Document observations in the medical record.
• Coordinate care with the team and assign duties.
• Supervise nursing care provided by others.
• Perform age-appropriate nursing assessments.
• Facilitate admission and disposition processes.
• Communicate professionally to ensure coordination.
• Be flexible and willing to learn in a self-directed team.
